Districts

The wildlife management and hunting of the Deer hunting according to the criteria of selection, namely, according to a planned uptake of sex and age classes, began in the 1990-91 hunting season. All management activities, monitoring the populations in the implementation of sampling plans, are divided into territorial units called Districts management.

    The province of Siena is divided into three Territorial Areas to Hunt who, in turn, are divided into the following districts:

    Northern Chianti , Chianti West , Montagnola , Montemaggio East , West Montemaggio , Monticiano , Val d'Elsa Nord , Val d'Elsa Sud , Val di Cecina , Valley Scum

    Atc 18

    South Gaiole Chianti , Siena, Chianti South , North Crete , Crete West , Crete South , Middle Ombrone , East Montalcino , Montalcino West , North Ombrone , Ombrone South , East Val di Merse

    Atc 19

    Sarteano , Amiata , Cetona , San Casciano , Val d'Asso , Val d'Orcia , the Val di Chiana East , North Val di Chiana , Val di Chiana South
